IMO they're a lot hardier than RCS... I had both in the same tank and rcs were dying from me switching it to RO/tap half&half. They even berried when I had my parameters at..

What I suggest is.. To put the shrimps inside a small container with some moss in declorinated water till your tank cycles.. That's what I did and all my cherries lived..!
