My dwarf lilly has gone dormant for a few months after sending up surface pads. I just left it in the tank and didn't mess with it. Afterwards I got a TON of daughter plants out of it.

Plants for acidic water?

I'm planning an unexpected betta tank, and decided I want to try using leaf litter in the tank. I know there's usually not a ton of plants that go with bodies of water that have a bunch of leaf...

Why not get another larger bowl for the betta? You'd have more options as far as plants go, could put a filter on it, and a heater. Imagine it, your betta weaving in and out of a nice big tall group...
