How many 13W AH Supply to replace existing lights ?

I have been running a 10G tank with cheap canopy and 2 x 20W screw in flourescent lamps for a long time very successfully as a medium light non CO2 tank.
Problem is - i cannot find the lamps anymore...

GSA on glass - removal question

Well i guess i let "something" get out of whack a little over the past months and have more than usual GSA on my glass.
In the past i used a scrubber but the stuff is really really hard to scrub off...

Have you tested your tap water for ammonia and nitrite ? Or did you use water conditioner - your water might contain chloramine.

To come back to your original question - yes i don't see why it wouldn't work. The extra compartment with filter media(s) and one for heater and pump is done in glass tanks - so why not in plywood.
