The babies should be floating heads down during the first week, and then they would walk like an adult after a week or so. I was feeding them crushed flakes.

I agreed with StLouisGuy use food to encourage breeding. I used to feed them daily and they would carry eggs every month. But now I feed them every 2 days, they stopped developing eggs....

Those are Caridina cf. babaulti, and tiger is Caridina sp.
So I believe the chance of them cross breed is low, actually they are more like to cross with Indian Green shrimp than Tiger.

Good to hear the situation is getting better. MY PH at 8, 3 remaining bumble bees are happy and active. As long as water parameters have been stablized, they should be fine.

The water is definitely too hard, could be above 8. From the pictures, they dont look too good probably due to ph shock or bad water.

I suggest you setup a tank and cycle it for atleast 3 weeks....

I have similar experience with my 5.5G, they seems to stay pretty small comparing to the ones in the bigger tank.
I wonder if its because less food available in the smaller tank.
