New guy to LED electronics here. From what I read in that thread, you can't add a dimmer to the Finnex fixtures, but the one I'm talking about, you simply plug the fixture into it and that's it.

You could also try mixing your tap water with RO or distilled. It will take some testing to get your params right, but you won't have to buy a remineralizer.

Shouldn't have to soak it at all, as far as I know it's completely safe for aquarium use once it's dry. I'd give it at least 2-3 days to dry completely just to be safe.
