What is worse than under dosing is over dosing. My only question is if it is indeed a deficiency. It looks like one to me, but testing says otherwise.

What do u mean by horizontal lines? I don't see any horizontal lines across the leaves, but there are horizontal lines running from the middle to the both edges of the submersed form of the leaves.

Yep a lot like it. I see the same 2 types of leafs. However I see you have leafs that looks broader than mine, but that could be merely a difference in growing condition.

I don't really keep snails, just those tiny ones that hitch hiked with the plants, which I try to remove when I can. Those seems fine to me, I still see them here and there.
