Why didn't you do it outside? Lol. Looks like no qc was done :/. I would imagine the glass not being fully clean and had dust when they were putting it together or moved the tank before it was fully...

Yes, do what makes you happy.. Sorry I may have made an unfair accusation. When OP said he had 5 scientist to prove that CO2 use wasn't necessary I agree 100% but I also felt like he was putting down...
