Added some of the filter floss from my canister...

Added some of the filter floss from my canister to help thw cycle along. The hydrocotyle looks like it's taking off already. It's a lovely little plant!

Ok, decided on weeping moss for the wood and eleocharis sp mini for the back and sides and hydrocotyle tripartita for the foregound bottom right (sort of mixed in a bit).

Not sure what to use for...

I was thinking Hydrocotyle tripartita but apparently it likes warmer water. I does get cold in out house sometimes when the heating is off in the winter, like below 18c. Could give it a go and see.

It's quite small so maybe just a couple of shrimp. I would love some bumble bee shrimp. That's why I was thinking about using softer water.

I see what you mean :) it doesn't solve my impatience just gives me a distraction. Hopefully setting up a mini scape will help to take my mind off the main tank.

Had to take this down because we needed the spare...

Had to take this down because we needed the spare room for a nursery. I still have the cylinder. Will prob set it up again when the kids are bigger and we have the space.
