Hi guys, this plant appears to have hitchhiked on some driftwood. As far as I know the driftwood had not been in any fish tanks prior to me purchasing it. It was from a mass-seller about 3 years...

Thanks for your help, I will definitely look around for some UG. Hopefully it will do ok in sand. I think I have a lot to learn about emersed growth.

Can anyone point me towards the place to buy a good shrimp safe pre-filter? Looking for a nice foam piece or something similar. I'm currently running two different size aquaclear HOB filters.

Good enough starting quality to begin to selectively breed upward, without skipping out on the challenge and "buying" your way to the best stock....
