I do fertilize, I'll post pics asap. The lights are 48 watts in 30 gallons of water. 5000k and 6500k.

I would just stick with the 5000 K in 6700 K for now. Java fernss are relatively low light plants.

Maybe put something opaque over 1/2 of the glass lid under the lights so there's some shade for the frog bit. So try to get some movement on the top of the water so they can get some movement around...

I heard too much light could burn it out. Movement is ok for it as long as it does not get pushed under water. The pads should stay on the surface.

I have a clamp light on a 10 gal with a 10 watt 6500k cfl 4 inches above the water. I use a submersible filter, I think the current helps from being burned they are moving around the top of the tank...

Seachem says no. They do however recommend refrigerating flourish comprehensive. Comprehensive is normally tea or coffee colored, not sure about the iron I use root tabs, the excel is clear.

I thought I read somewhere you should wait 24 hrs after a cleaning/water change due to the adding of dechlorinator. Is this true?

It's all the same you should be good with the standard mix. 2 cups sugar 1/2 tsp yeast 1 tsp baking soda. I have a 37 gal I'm good with one 2 liter for a month. My plants doubled in size in 2 weeks...

Thanks, i do dose. Flourish comp 2x a week, osmocote tabs and excel. I know four ish does not have anyt potassium in it. Could it be a potassium deficincy maybe?

water wisteria

I have had Wisteria in my tank about 3 months now. They are about 22" tall but just in the last week some of the leaves are turning brownnand curling. I have not changed anything :confused:....
