Actually mine are RRF. This was them when I first got them. There was nothing else mixed in. I know this because I put each one in by hand to make sure there were no other species.

Yep! That's RRF. It needs high light and high ferts to get the big red roots. Here is a photo of mine for a reference. 9388293890

I just put the Fluval in my tank yesterday. I rinsed it first and got a ton of dark sediment out of it. I'm glad I did. Mine cleared up in a few hours and never got terribly cloudy to begin with.
