I've read many threadsa debating on it....
I've read many threadsa debating on it. Apparently, they are, but because they aren't UL listed, they cannot advertise the heater as being 100% submersible. (This is in regards to the Eheim Jagers....

Heaters that are not fully submersible?
How do you place heaters that are not fully submersible in a tank? Does the water level have to be lowered so that the heater stays completely the tank, or do you end up having the top of the heater...

The lengths companies give you for bulbs are always generic and refer to the size fixture they will fit. Any bulb advertisted as 24" will fit your 24" fixture.
It would be much more inconvenient...

I put in one seachem root tab under each sword...
