Actually it really looks like A. albatar to me... Maybe I'll go back and get them tomorrow. They also has the fattest/biggest Pygmy Corys I have ever seen in my life (and I've kept them).

If the silicone is sketchy you can always reseal the tank. It is super easy, and if you don't mind the work it is a great way to save a lot of $$ on used tanks!

I guess I meant more is there a shrimp that is more of a happy medium, like more valuable than cherry shrimp (and therefore probably less hardy) but not ridiculously sensitive or expensive.
