Diy Rimless built. Did I screw up?
So I just finished putting together a rimless Starphire tank with scs1200 silicone.
The dimensions are 70cm long x 45cm wide x 40cm tall.

I'd like to see more photos of the leds in action. Are you happy with the amount of light you are getting from them?
I just ordered 14 xp-gs with dimmable driver and hope it will be enough...

6x PC 55w or 4x t5HO over 120g
Just a quick question.
I have the ballasts to run 6x 55-watt power compacts or 4x 4ft t5HO.
This is over a 4ft 120gallon tank.
Which would be the better choice?

single ended metal halide uv radiation
Hi there.
I just got a new 175w metal halide bulb. It is a ushio 10k bulb and it came with a warning stating that it must be in an enclosed fixture.
My previous xm 10k bulb did not have this...

Cows are slaughtered much in the same way although I think it is required to knock them out first?
I suppose they could have done that to the dolphins.

too much light?
My plants do not seem to be growing at all.
I'm wondering if too much light will actually overload them?
I have 175w of metal halide over 30g.
I can't figure out why I am not getting any growth....
