Doh! I guess it's the 24" since it's pictured the length of the tank. Just making sure it will fit before I buy the saltwater version of this for my 17g reef.

If you remove them after the mail fertilizes them and they turn white its fungus and they won't make it. If you use this method gets some Methylene Blue Solution 3% to keep the fungus at bay.

Don't waste much at all if you turn the water off once the flow hits the siphon head. Unless of course your tanks are lower than the faucet which is rare.

I haven't waited on a full cycle in at least 15 years. Smaller tanks you're better off waiting it out though. It doesn't hurt to change 20-25% during cycling.

Why is that? Bacteria cultures have been used successfully in septic tanks for many years even in the dry form. They also have an extremely long shelf life unlike the viral posts we read online....

What about Hot Magnum? I had one and it was quite. Another plus is you can pour your colonized media in a bucket of tank water and run the micron cartridge for a while to polish the water. :proud:
