It will make water crystal clear for maybe a few days or weeks and then that's it.

Regenerate it and clear water time isn't as long. So it's like whatever.

Are you raising the water level? If not how did you get your AC20 intake low enough to siphon water? I've always had to have the water be at least 3/4ths full for it to filter or any AC for that...
