10 gallon will be fine for one or a pair. They get about 3 inches on average and are rather quiet inhabitants. Bigger is always better when it comes to tank sizes, but a 10 gallon will do.

I never found A. lineatus to be aggressive to other non Aplocheilus fish, so your hatchets should be fine provided they can't be swallowed.

Depends on the species and age of the fish. I keep a lot of predators that only require feedings 1-2x a week if as much, but the smaller predators and younger fish I'll feed anywhere from 4x a week...
