A few nerites and a uv in the filter line will take care of it without the chemicals. Erythromycin should be ok on the CRS short term. A UV off a site like ebay isn't that expensive and will help...

Anyone ever deal with one with shrimp? If so, how did you finally get rid of it? If you want more info see my post under parameters. They are a bit tougher to get rid of than a regular bacteria.
