Do assassins drop infertile eggs ever? I know other snail species do this all the time but do assassins do it too? I see assassin eggs in my tank all the time but still never a single baby yet.

I've had so many bettas jump out of the tank (to their death) I can't even count... Most that jumped on me were the short-finned variety and the females (always shortfinned). But I have even had the...

Strangely enough when I had used fluorite - the pH in that tank was always about 6.5 or lower and the shrimps loved it. Both of the species thrived well & bred at this pH.

Assassin snails...anyone have experience in breeding?

I'm new to these snails. Just got a few recently. What kind of conditions (temp/pH/kH) do they prefer? Especially to get them breeding.

Thanks.

Flourite black is the best. I don't care what anyone says! After that dust settles (and it might take awhile in a new tank) it's the most beautiful substrate ever.

The only one drawback of it...
