It will look fine if you just put the light on the top glass like chayos did. I had my planted+ like that as well but decided to remove the top glass as I knew pruning plants would be awful reaching...

Who makes a 36cm/14in cube aquarium?

I have an Aquasky light for a mini-m but would like to try a cube instead. Does anyone sell a 14x14x14" cube? Even a 13x13x13" would work if I could find it.
