I have the worst time with anubias and other slow growers. I was thinking of trying some mosses out though on the background if I can figure out how to attach them.

I dunno been a while since I kept Blue Rams but your female looks like a Bolivian ram to me. Could just be the pic but I have 6 Bolivian Rams in my 125 and they look exactly like your fish.

I have a 24 inch tank with 2 t5 ho and my light is 3 inches off the top of the tank. Gives me Medium light which is fine until I get my co2 maxed then I will drop it to the top of the tank.

Yeah I have algae wafers and the otos in my 65 don't touch them so I haven't tried them out on the 125 yet. When I googled it there were plenty of reports of them eating cucumbers and zucchini.

My suggestion would be to only use extruded styrofoam. It's much more dense and easier to work...
