Quick question on lighting and algae
I have a 55 gallon that I recently un-planted. So now I have a Coralife dual T5NO 48" light that I would like to keep using for the new configuration. Will this amount of lighting lead to algae...

My take on a DIY stand
Top frame is 2x6, the rest is 2x4, glued and screwed. I attached the legs to the top and bottom with pocket screws. It was my first time using pocket screws…I'm sold!...

Number of shrimp for 55 gallon
I am going to be adding plants this week and I plan to do a silent cycle. As I understand it, I should wait a week or two after the plants are in to let them settle and then I can add a few fish....
