The filter is a HOB that is less then a year old. It's a cheap one but isn't under any sort of pressure. If somehow it was leaking, it has stopped now which makes about as much sense as a tank...

In order to figure out which corner was leaking and had to be resealed, I filled the tank back up. I waited for an hour and it didn't leak, left it for the rest of the day and it still didn't leak....
