It was soaking in hot water for about a day, I guess I could replace it, but it's gonna be hard. The piece is pretty long, I needed a bathtub to put the soaking container in.

What is it made of? If it's not made for aquariums, I would be very cautious. Stick with pet store or specially made online stuff if ya can.

It wouldn't be too bad to have one made for aquariums....
