Go with the 75 over the 90. The 90 does nothing for you except more water to change, harder to trim and plant, and require more light. I set up a 75g 8 months ago and I am happy with it.

You should think about mixing RO water in about a 50/50 mixture with your tap water to get your KH down. Also as the chart shows, PH, KH, and CO2 are all tied together.
