I have a Ray2, and a Planted+. Visually the Planted+ is much more appealing to the eye, but the Ray2 has better PAR values, so it really depends on what you want more. The color vs the PAR output.

Less than 50$? (which would be <50 btw) I think you might be looking at a Beamswork LED fixture. Not great quality IMO, but cheap and when they don't crash completely it seems like the get the job...
