Both girls and ok if there are no other fish in the 10 gal and you do frequent water changes and the tank is planted. Otherwise a larger tank is needed.

I don't think they eat live ones. But I don't know for sure. But they coexist very well. If you have a lot of copepods, maybe you overfeed a little. Otherwise they are a sign of a healthy tank.

It is safe for fresh water fish. I used it when I had mystery snails. You can also add oyster shell tablets and egg shells, both of which dissolve much faster than cuddle bone.
