If it were that easy, people would have had BBA farms 20 years ago when CO2 was still much less common. But that wasn't the case. It's certainly a factor, but it's not the only one.

I don't think it's a duck though. Ducks have beaks and feathers. I think it's diatoms. ;) Which will go away quickly. No reason to even try and clean them off, except maybe on the front glass.
