60g planted West African tank
Doing more research and hoping somebody has an answer. During the day fish need air that plants provide, and plants need CO2 that fish provide. But at night they both produce CO2. So to add O2 at...

Yep it's all a pain. I'm doing the daily water changes on my 5.5g right now. Set up a week ago almost and it's incredibly overstocked ATM. I have 28 1/2" fry in it. 6 are going to BAP at my club...

I tell ya, the more tanks the more fish the better the quality of fish (through breeding) the diversity alone you can keep is overwhelming. But so is the maintenance. I have friends with over 40...

T5 NO good enough for plants?
The part I worry about is the size. My fixture is 48" but my opening is 30" so 18" of the bulbs will be over black acrylic, never reaching the water and that's part I worry about melting

T5 NO good enough for plants?

Lighting for acrylic 52g flat back hex
Another correction: it's normal output not high output. So it would only push out 56w total. Would this still be sufficient for a planted tank? Going to build legs to sit it 1" above the glass. And...
