I feed them shirakura shrimp food. I drop like a quarter of a chip in, but they never gather around it. I haven't even seen them eat it actually....I have a small school of pygmy cories in the tank...

Temp is right around 76-77 degrees. Running a sponge filter only, so not much current in the tank.

I've counted two moltings, so hopefully that's a good sign.

Tank cycled for about two months.

Cherry Shrimp Concerns

So I picked up some cherry shrimp this past weekend from a seller on craigslist. His shrimp looked healthy, active, and a few were berried. I bought ten of them and he included a berried female.

I may be late for this discussion, but are there any options or methods of dimming the output of the Ray 2 lights?

Currently I just have a sheet of paper covering my lid on one half to provide...

I just purchased the 24" Finnex Ray 2 in 7000k...

I just purchased the 24" Finnex Ray 2 in 7000k for my 10 gallon. The sliding legs are adjustable and I have it set up right now. It does hang a little on the sides, but it does work for what I need...
