I think the center rock is a little too large and hides too much of the branch in the back. Try playing with it sunk in the ground more or switch it with a smaller one if you agree.

Great stuff is fish safe on its own even submerged. The silicone is for looks and you could press your substrate into it when it's drying so it matches. Just FYI

You could use Great Stuff Expanding Foam to make the riverbed then cover it with black silicone and bury it in the dirt. Or melt some pvc or garden tubing and cover with silicone.
