Remineralizer question

So I'm setting up my first CRS/CBS (or maybe blue bolt??) tank. Very exciting!!!


I will be using RO/DI water from the chem lab at my college and remineralizing it--I don't know the parameters...

Thanks! I'll look around for some beech and oak leaves in a park nearby.
It's actually 2 pieces of wood that I tied together. Hopefully some more of the moss on the tall branch will start to grow...

The land and water areas seem fine. I would find a top for the tank, and cover up the filter. They love getting into places they aren't supposed to.

Yeah, so I didn't check the cycle at all, but I didn't take any losses--probably because the filter was still seeded. The blue shrimp is the offspring from Speedie's chocolate shrimp.
