if it leaks in the regulator body, it's hard to fix it. you may check to see if you can find it on a local hardware store.

If you put a check valve there, the pump may not have enought pressure to crack the valve. It will be better to put the fert bottle higher than the tank.

That's a high flow metering valve. I don't think you are able to use it. .
you should look for a low or medium flow valve.

SAE ate Green Spot Algae

This is the first time I see SAE eat GSA. The GSA just growing too fast. E.I dose with 50% tap water change every week and cleaned all GSA on the glass, but The glass will look like what is picture...

you said you fully close the handle. do you mean fully release the handle? turning it counter clockwise. do you check the relief valve on the bottom?
