you can quickly find pictures of finnex lights, they don't have any specific hangers for wires but what I did was just use the ends of it that normally sit on the tank trim.

if you do divide it with foam then use a canister...

if you do divide it with foam then use a canister and an inline heater
put the outtake on one end and the intake on the other so the foam acts as another filter.
the heater in line will then help...

For sealing I kno drylok has been used but I've only ever used acrylic fortifier mixed in my mortar. Which is cheaper then both of those products you showed
