Very young peacock bass. It grows into huge predator game fish in nature. Don't put it into your tank unless you know what you are doing.

Does ghost shrimp do OK with them?

In nature they eat other fish, different worms, insects and insect larva, and crustaceans. If you can catch some crawfish, your bass will happy to eat them.

They are totally terrible, you can loose all your fish if you don't quarantine their fish properly. On the other hand, the only store in Bay Area, that really quarantine the fish, is Albany Aquarium....
