I have tanks with Val's in them that have been...
I have tanks with Val's in them that have been dosed as high as 6x the recommended level of Seachem Excel ... they initally died back a bit then came back with a vengence and haven't had a problem...

I'm running a 90g (48"x18" footprint) with 4 x 54w T5HO's and was thinking of adding another 2 x 54...

In my opinion it's a P.I.T.A. to rinse ... recently bought a number of bags of it and it took forever to clear up rinsing, then clouded the tank so bad it took 3 days to settle.

I sort knew some of this as one of my Physic's classes a number of years ago we took a high powered laser and reflected it off the shine dome on a speaker cone and played musis ......
