Congratulations... my wife and I had a son 2.5 years ago (still have him, actually :) ). Most challenging, but most rewarding, experience ever.

UG propagation, care

I bought some UG about a month ago... I planted it as instructed, by breaking the batch up into sections and pushing the runner into the substrate.

Some of those plantings died, some are existing...

I've got a 2232 on the mini-L in my office; if I concentrate, I can hear my CO2 diffuser, but I can't hear the canister.

Easy to clean, easy to work with, I'm a huge fan of Eheim.

Then, I'll have to somehow summon the patience to try the emersed start.

Looking great, UG.

You're making it very difficult for me to resist the impulse to pick up another ADA tank; I've got a mini-M and 30-C in my cart at Aqua-Forest right now.

I picked the worst of the 3 anubias, trimmed off any leaf with BBA, as well as any that were torn or perforated (it's a rather aged plant). I was left with a pretty pathetic-looking 2-3" rhizome and...

Splitting/cleaning anubias

I have 3 anubias nanas, they've developed some BBA (actually, I developed it, it just happened to develop on them :) ).

When trimming leaves from anubias, do you simply snip them off at the base?...
