For one, That is a not really a heavily planted tank. You also have alot of root feeder type plants, you are dosing your water column which is not how alot of those plants receive their nutrients....

Do the 1-2 punch with excel and hydrogen peroxide. Your dosing schedule looks good. Try cutting the amount yiu use to about half and see if that curbs it. You can always slowly work your way back up...

Houseofcards, I am not saying that a diffuser wont disburse co2 well in a large tank, all I am saying that their is a more efficient way to utilize your co2 so that you are not refilling as much....

No, it came with hose inserts that fit in my cascade 3/4" tube fine. No leaks and sits on the side of my tank.
The crust on the top is from when i disconnected it to clean it cause i have a hair...

I use the ista mix max co2 reactor in my 150 gallon. Its less than $20 and does a good job with co2 diffusion.
