Yeah, I did take out the co2 thinking it was contributing to the scum at the top of my water... turns out it's relatively the same without surface tension - so i pointed the nano...

I've used a Fluval 205 on a ten gallon, i think the 205 is roughly similar to the XP2. It was a little too much, but with the Fluval you can turn down the output...
