I don't have a Python; I keep a big bucket that I put in the sink. The water from the faucet continually fills the bucket. I have a pump with one end in the bucket and one end in the tank. I can dose...

Sounds OK to me. I have more than that in my 65 gallon.

Regardless, a couple rams are not going to make a bioload difference one way or the other.

I just put 5 more rummynose in my tank...

There was no discernible difference in my tank with 100 ramshorns and 0 ramshorns.

That being said, I liked them when they were present in smaller numbers. But too much is too much.

I had a ton of ramshorn snails in my 65-gallon. I didn't mind them so much at first, but they were just slowly getting out of control.

I asked the LFS guy about assassin snails, and he said they...

The way I think of it, Dutch-style tanks look like literal gardens. There are a variety of plants, with no effort made to seem "natural." There is also more of an emphasis on attaining a variety of...

It can be frustrating. I definitely know how you feel.

You just have to experiment with different angles of holding the plant in your tweezers, and dig 'em in deep. Then, once it's in, you can...

Black emperor tetras multiplying out of control!

I have a heavily-planted 65 gallon.

Keep trimming also to keep it healthy, even after it fills in completely. I had a DBT carpet, and loved it. But I didn't trim it enough, and eventually the roots...
