Drastic measure?

So I have some crypts with BBA all over them.I was just wondering if anyone has just cut crypts off at the base if they will grow back.Basically if a crypt has no leaves can it recover?

You could try a small specimen like dario or the like.From what i hear they're a little finicky with feeding,but they would get along and probally wouldn't stress the system too much.

I agree with how awful a show it is.As a hobbist i'm disgusted.But there is a silver lining.Publicity may help our hobby in the long run.I think they focus on SW fish because its where the money is...
