What's so complicated about it? The light is fixed height and those readings were on their 60U tank which is 14" high. So those are the PAR readings when installed in a 60U at the bottom of the tank....

That is false. There is no upgrade path from g3 to g4 because the new lens requires a difference recess in the housing and it adds more channels. It doesn't matter if the light is an xr30 or xr15,...

Well I gave them a call and their engineer said it's around 5500K which makes it just right. Going to pull the trigger on a Ray 22 to try out. Light is 0-10V dimming capable so that's a plus.
