I've had success with both leaving the fry in the tank, moving them to another tank, with gardenri. usually i run i small shrimp tank that i raise fry in.the shrimp just keep the tank cycled.

yes they do, but they tend to eat the younger ones, whom have a weaker shell that they can crunch on .

these are good fish. they tend to be shy when not in a school, but with good numbers they are a great fish. it might be very hard to find large enough ones though :-(
