3 Puffers in a 10 seems like a lot. I have one in my 7.5 gallon heavily planted and I wouldn't want a second, especially after reading how territorial they are.

As for the Excel, directions call for 5mL for every 50 gallons. Which is 1mL per 10 gallons. So for a 2.5g tank, you would dose 0.25 mL daily.

I noticed both snails and shrimp snacking on the white fuzz, but the quickest way to get rid of it is by hand. It easily rubs right off with your fingers.
