You can float them for several days easily. I would raise your tank lights a few inches though so you don't accidentally light burn any of them.

Carefull if you never worked with CO2 before with just cycling you might gas out your shrimp since there isnt enough plant load to produce the oxygen in the water column.

Well I would say due to the size of your tank your plant population is only like less then 10% it should be around 50~60% plant mass and your lights would stop feeding the algae and just feed plants.
