I don't have experience with an mp40 but don't think you would have any deadspots. If you only have 1/2 inch glass I think you would be okay with the mp10 at the higher settings. I would get one...

Man, I was going to get an mp10 for my 4x2x2 120g but the glass is to thick. What are your dimensions? I think a mp60 would be overkill. I wish they would bring back the mp20.

There are some really good threads here on tpt...

There are some really good threads here on tpt that walk you through and show you how to split erios. I usually just use a razor blade on my cineriums and Japan's to tease apart the individual plants.

I will usually pull them when my erios flowers. Keep an eye on them though. Mine will usually be ready to split after flowering.
