Filter output options for 3/4" hose

I've got an Aquatop 500 that I really like, but I have never been a fan of the plastic pieces that make up the output. Plus the dog chewed them. Does anyone have a preferred output for 3/4" ID hoses?...

Record the bubble counter. Slow it down. Isolate a 1 second interval. Count the bubbles. Should be easy enough with any basic video software.
