you don't need to leave them floating for that long... float them for about 15 mins to get the temperature in the bag to adjust and equal your water temp. Then roll the edge of the bag up so the bag...

From what i've seen at the LFS i work at, fiddlers can't usually catch fish to eat. They're pretty slow. Not to say that if they did have a chance they wouldn't take it. Slight risk, but not too bad....

yeah, there are quite a bit of plants in there, pretty much all fast growers; alot of anacharis, hornwort, wisteria, and a few others i don't remember the name for... and i'm gonna continue to...

maybe you misread, i referenced a 10 gallon that had high ammonia, verifying my test kit works, but the 55 gallon shows no ammonia

I let the water dechlorinate for 3 days before adding any fish.
So now it's been 7 days since first fish were introduced.

would a male betta get along with male guppies? i ask because since they look similar i'd assume that the betta will think the guppy is another betta and kill it... I tried a search but couldn't find...

Interseting reads... seems simple enough, only thing that seems annoying is trying to figure out how much ammonia to dose... but even that doesn't look TOO hard... I'll keep an eye on my water...
