A few degrees doesn't make a difference. I don't measure the temperature of my water either, before I add it. But just saying add cold water can be interpreted in many ways.

My Petsmart Otos just get what my shrimp get: HBH Algae Grazers and Shirakura Shrimp food. They love it and happily munch away on it.

The 70gal in my signature was with Seachem Tahitan Moon sand (just black sand) and some Laterite as base layer only. I had med-high light and Co2 and never had any problems!
