A. cacatuoides might be the ones your looking for in terms of being hardy. I never kept them with ghosts shrimp though. All my other apistos leave the ghosts shrimp alone.

I'm gonna be a smartmouth - how precious can a ghost shrimp be? You can get nice batch of them for $1.00. :hihi: Anyways, get some apistos, they will leave your shrimp alone.

I have 3 pairs and an extra female in my 75g. They are cool with the amano but not ghosts. They live peacefully with my tetras and apistos and the mature ones can tolerate a wide range of PH and KH.

IMO, although testing with glass shrimp is cheaper, it's not an accurate way in terms of whether or not you can keep amano's. Even my tetras ripped those suckers apart. Amano's are much bigger.
